Just Perfect! 2010-09-02
I was looking for an inexpensive option to protect my new Kindle 3, and was thrilled to see the video review which showed that the K3 would work in this too. He was absolutely correct. The Kindle 3 fits just fine with just a little extra room on each end, which is fine with me. The material itself is quite rigid and padded. It fits perfectly in my purse without being bulky. The velcro closure works fine, although if you were trying discreetly read, opening the velcro would be a dead giveaway! Like other reviewers, I too am stumped as to why the top flap has a velcro strip all across the top, but only two fastener strips on either end on the case. However I did notice the new K3 case has a strip at either end and the middle, I assume to address that question. Overall, I'm tickled pink with my case (and I did get the camo and pink case)!

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1I751B2X0X5B9 A nice case for the Kindle that does what it's supposed to do for a great price. If you're looking for a sleeve this is as good as any.
A kangaroo pouch for your Kindle 2010-08-27
Timbuk2 makes high quality products, I also own one of their messenger bags and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. As for this Kindle sleeve well, it works great. The inside of the sleeve is like a kangaroos pouch. You're probably saying to yourself "Kensei, I thought the inside of a kangaroos pouch is all gross and hairy inside", well next time you see a kangaroo try putting your kindle inside her pouch so you can see how well it protects it.
Timbuk2 2010-08-26
The Timbuk 2 is a very sturdy and compact holder for my Kindle. I took it traveling and it was great--just a bit bigger than the Kindle itself and well padded.
Nice cover 2010-08-25
Handy and well made with a smooth red cloth lining. Perfect fit. Not overly bulky. I have not dropped the sleeve with the Kindle 2 inside but I bet that it would handle a drop. A velcro flap style of sleeve is much quicker to use than a zipper sleeve.
