Filming Review 2010-09-06
This camera is great for filming a show if you want to put it on the internet or your family if you want to remember a fun day or even a road trip. It is one of the easiest cameras I have been exposed to. You push a button to turn it on and you point it at the thing you want to film and press another button to film. That's it! And transferring it to your computer is super easy too. Just make sure to transfer the video into another folder before renaming it. Tip! If you need a cheap, easy-to-use camera, get this one.

i sent this cam back for a refund.
the video on my iphone 4 is by far superior
you can hardly zoom in
it looks really cheesy
display is way too small
very simple to use though, maybe suitable for young kids or the elderly
invest in a flash cam or a good smartphone instead
Not as good as I'd hoped 2010-09-05
I decided on this based on other reviews. I wasn't looking for fabulous playback, but didn't expect the poor results I got. Playback is fuzzy in both high and low lighting environments - in fact, my digital camera takes better movies. The only redeeming quality to this is the software that allows you to pull stills out and save them as photos. You can get some very nice pictures this way. Not high quality, but still nice.

I am so glad I purchased this Flip Camcorder. I really didn't know what to expect when I bought it. The quality of the video is GREAT! I like that you can get snapshots off of the videos. When printed they are actually high quality photos too! Even when the lighting isn't good the videos come out. I took a video outside when it was getting dark and was suprised at how the video looked brighter when viewed. It is the perfect size to carry around. The price is better than reasonable.
